This is so ridiculous, it will definitely not be here in a couple of days. On the other hand, it says a lot about what I know.

- Yes it is.

"Then would you mind explaining this link?"

"You know very well what link."

- You mean, The Periodic Table of Rock?

"Yes."

- I'm afrad that I can't.

"Can't what?"

Ovarian stimulation with daily late follicular phase administration of low-dose human chorionic gonadotropin for in vitro fertilization: a prospective, randomized trial

Intervention(s)
Patients were divided into three groups and administered the following treatments: group A, recombinant hFSH from day 3 until follicles reached 13–14mm, when recombinant hFSH was lowered to 75 IU daily and daily injections of 200 IU of hCG and a GnRH antagonist were administered until final maturation; group B, recombinant hFSH and a GnRH antagonist; group C, recombinant hFSH and a GnRH agonist.

Main Outcome Measure(s)
Primary outcome was the number of mature oocytes. Secondary outcomes included average initial and total recombinant hFSH dosage, serum E2 level on day of ovulation, number of oocytes retrieved, fertilization, number of top-quality embryos, endometrial thickness, implantation rate, pregnancy rate (PR), and incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

If you are hooking up with women who don't appreciate this kind of publication, then you should probably change your habits. Why don't you just wait for her to ask you if her dress makes her look fat? See you in the funny papers, dude.

Hey, let's go see The Prisstones!

After playing poker for an hour, reading mifepristone abstracts between hands, I thought I would start to enlighten the people on what some important words mean:

This word "OVARY" starts with the moopy looking thing, looking like Droopy Drawers. It's a willow tree. The second thing is the detour sign of the three arrows over the word "fruit". The 3 arrows might mean "we're going on patrol". Fruit patrol, in this case. "We're going to harvest the fruit of the willow tree."

Testicles. Rhymes with Pericles. Swamp pill. It's called a swamp pill because of the nature of the production area. A vast work area, a Garden State, growing a million sperm a second. Or something like that. New Jersey is "The Swamp State". It all fits.

It's a magic carpet for punk rock, these two words. Ms Moopy and Mr Swampy get together, spend the weekend in bed, roaming around the house in their pajamas and underwear, not going outside. It's a serious shortcoming of these words that they are so moopy and swampy. It does lead to dressing up real nice when you go out, in order to balance the nature of the relationship. After two days of farting around the apartment, the only thing you want to do is go to St Mark's place or Harajuku and walk around like you haven't been listening to Moesha and Django Reinhardt for hours on end. I guess the old people would hole up in the Poconos with a Frank Sinatra album back in the day. Was it the Roaring 20s, or the Boring 20s?

I suppose if one is in this condition one should start slowly. Put on The Smiths and start to wake up. Add Queen Latifah. Continue to regain consciousness. As you feel stronger, continue to climb up the ladder of perspicacity until you have reached a waking state. Now you're ready to cook breakfast. Eggxcellent! Eggzactly! You look eggxceptionally well this morning!

You can't deny how good it is to walk out on a brisk winter morning any more than you can deny how good it is to spend the day in bed.

The door and the heart (pictured). One can open a door on a bright sunny day, one can open a door on a moonlit night, one can open a door and hell is breaking loose. Or one can decide that "You are everything to me" and open the the door and "see only you" "and everything about you". And, "the whole world belongs to you" and "You are my entire world." It's a wonderful life, sweetheart.

Feeling blue? - Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears

Ozzy looks like Melissa Joan Hart throughout long parts of this video. According to the Wikipedia, Ms Hart was born on Long Island to a Catholic family and moved to Los Angeles and worked on her television shows. She is married to a heavy metal guitarist in Hollywood, CA. Her husband is in the band Course of Nature.

According to Benten Records Online in Tokyo, Melissa has something to do with "Apple Juice TV"

BASEBALL

A new word under the sun. The three ricefields look like a certain word for "defense" that was used heavily during the Los Angeles Riots of 1992, as grocers stacked sacks of rice on the roofs of their markets and supermarkets and hunkered down behind with assault rifles. I moved in across the street from one of these supermarkets a month after the riots were over and typically for LA, it was all so nice again, not a trace of problem, except for various destroyed structures here and there.

The cross at the bottom means "real estate".

S.T.A.R.

This is star. It's the sun in yellow and life, represented by the tree w/one leaf, in green. How much energy can a star give to support life here on earth? Not a whole hell of a lot. But ask Redd Foxx on what it means to be happy, Chandler Bing on what it means to be nice, Melissa Joan Hart on what it means to be a young woman, Lil Jon on what it means to be rich, or Ozzy on what it means to give a care, and you will get some distortedly exaggerated results.

Like a giant sun protectively hovering over the tree w/one leaf, giving nourishing sunlight on a specialized basis. The foolie of being a star.

It sounds "XING" so is used for "Singapore". The newspaper Sing Tao Daily is "Star Island Daily" and hopes to gain readers in island cities like Manhattan, surrounded by water, and Los Angeles, surrounded by desert.
This is poker, the standing hand w/ the guy taking a leak, and then the guy with the legs. The guy taking a leak outside indicates that the casino is responsible for providing the funds to build infrastructure outside of the casino area proper, including sewage treatment; and the guy on the right has legs, indicating that the game is legal, or on the up and up.

Contract Treaty Drugs Medicine

The bottle of booze radical is part of the medicine/hospital radical. If one takes 4 ounces of whiskey or vodka to stave off the symptoms of a common cold, or some NyQuil DayQuil or 44, then you have signed a contract that you can't get out of. You must drowse!

The two words are the same except the one on the right has been "working out".

The word on the right is the "yaku" of Yakuza. The one on the left is used for "Johann" and "York".

Cities that include this word include:

Johannesburg
New York

Mao Tai is the greatest of all Chinese alcohols, made from sorghum spirits and limestone water a la Kentucky, from China north of Thailand. There is a similarly packaged alcohol, called "Low Tai" with a low price. Mao means "couch grass"; it's the opposite of "cramp bark". Mao Tai sells for $30 in Boston Chinatown. It's 140 proof. It doesn't leave a hangover, because it is supposed to be medicinal, like all East Asian alcohols.

Mediterreanean wine is a new thing under the sun in East Asia. It's very popular.

Here's the word separated into components by color. Note the guy trapped in the boxlike area, by the big aquamarine Gidget woman. And the nice bottle at the bottom of the word in cinnamon red.

Cooking for One

I have started making my own salsa. Pico de Gallo, really. I buy two giant tomatoes, which variety does not have a lot of seeds or seed matter; onion, lime juice, cilantro pepper and garlic. It's all chopped up and refrigerated in a big big tupperware container.

Homemade quesadillas are easy. One heats up some cheddar, gently in a frypan, and puts the tortilla on top to adhere to the cheese while it warms up. Opening a can of refried beans, adding a bunch of salsa and heating, one spreads the mixture on top of the melted cheese and adds a bunch of supermarket bag salad if it's there. Satisfecho.

Tired of the long Quebecois winter? Me too. How about some French food? It involves a can of Campbell's cream of broccoli, frozen peas and carrots, half a box of pasta and some sour cream for the Campbells instead of water or milk. Season to taste, maybe with cumin and red flake pepper. Original Cajun!

......................................

And then there's cake. Mom bakes so I can bake easily too. Or, one could just practice baking, if you think its important. Half a box of chocolate mix, use one 9 inch round pan, adding lots of coconut and extra semi sweet morsel chocolate. Frost with can frosting. Great!

............................................

I don't know about you, but Hot and Sour Soup is one of genuine foods at the Chinese takeout delivery. Real Siberian Power!

If you look at power, anthropomorphicaly, its supposed to make you think about Boy George, Latoya Jackson or Paris Hilton, whatever you please. It also makes one think about the female-shaped reflectors one sees on trucks.

There are different words for power. This is just one of them. It is very easy to write. As it is a two-stroke word, it is a crude way of expressing power. Power can also be expressed more complicatedly as a function of "how to cause and/or to cure a backache".

Wu Gan Da

.............................................................
WU = The Crow
GAN = Dry Shield
DA = Success

Why is Uganda the Dry Crow? Is there lack of rainfall away from the rivers and lakes? Sometimes the Chinese government makes decisions that you really have to think about.

For instance, the color of white isn't used traditionally for wedding announcements, as it's the color of death. So, black (the crow) which might have something to do with death in the West has instead a meaning of "ska" or "Eminem" or "Miles Davis". Nothing to do with death, it's not a particularly goth color.

Uruguay and The Ukraine share this name. You know, Ukraine and Belarus, Black Russia and White Russia.

In the case of Uganda, the GAN looks like a telephone pole. Is this something the Chinese think about as they attempt to market their version of the country home solar panel, the fact that it lacks telephone poles, or electric transmission lines, in its very nature?

I think they call "shield" and "dry" the same thing, because you sweat like a pig if you carry a shield for more than a few minutes. Its the sort of word that helps to discourage war. It's an example of that famed Eastern Pacifism.

And DA, it looks like someone standing next to a stream. Normally it is safe to think of this word as someone carrying home something nice in a shopping bag, like a load from Boston Market, or a KFC bucket. It looks more like a stream, the way I wrote it.

China picks 30 songs for moon satellite

www.chinaview.cn 2006-10-07 09:34:40

BEIJING, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- China announced a list of 30 songs to be broadcast to Earth next year from its first lunar-probing satellite, the authorities said.

The Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, in charge of the lunar project, announced Friday a list of 30 tunes to be played from the lunar-probing satellite, which coincides with this year's traditional Mid-Autumn Festival or the Moon Festival, a time for family reunions. The songs were chosen according to public votes and by a panel of experts, organized by the commission, China Central Television and China Musicians Association.

Experts said these songs can express Chinese people's love for the motherland, for life, peace and their pursuit of truth and nature, which will showcase the beauty of Chinese culture and its influence. Most of the songs were Chinese folk songs. The song got most votes was folk song "My Wonderful Home Town", followed by "I Love China", "Singing Praises of Motherland" and 27 others.

Encylopedic chinese songs website ishici.com

It doesn't say how we are supposed to listen to the songs.

There is a website, ishici.com, that has very many Chinese songs. Maybe thousands. I tell you, they are clever. So clever. It doesn't really pay to look at titles like "My Wonderful Home Town" and "I Love China" and dismiss them out of hand.

But what's the point? Illiterate slag is a complicated issue in and of itself, an issue which the East Asians have only been dealing with since around 1950. Even though Hong Kong has existed since ~1642, the Japanese, Korean and Vietnam wars, the creation of global telephony, and most importantly the airplane have created a forum where potentially literate people can be cultivated, elevated and taught. I should know. I'm one of them.

It's kind of like owning a shoebox full of penicillin, and nobody you know wants to take a tablet, and you have to invest in nursing services, delicious hospital food and lots of handkerchiefs to keep 'em all alive. They can smell the penicillin, and its function, but it just doesn't connect. It's 2006 and pneumonia is just another joke and that is something you metaphorically don't ever ever want to say out loud.

If only we could find out if the Chinese government thinks Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an interesting show with a new meaningful dynamic that has an impact on the status of Asian corporate interests....there's just no way of knowing....what the Chinese government really thinks....

"Their precious hip hop and heavy metals albums will never survive our 30 Songs Satellite program, Er.... Our songs are as clever as Sony and can never be erased."

Funny thing is, I spend time reading the songs. It kind of puts the Trick in McTrixie. You should really know what the competition (me) knows. Or else.....

Here's a song that fits today's mood. It says "Don't be a loser".

诗词名:龟虽寿 作者:曹操 朝代:魏晋 体裁: 类型:

龟虽寿

神龟虽寿,猷有竟时。
腾蛇乘雾,终为土灰。

盈缩之期,不但在天;
养怡之福,可得永年。
幸甚至哉,歌以咏志。
Young Marble Giants - N.I.T.A. Strange how to describe YMG, Jack Johnson is boorish in comparison.

Young Marble Giants - Credit in the Straight World - with normal sound levels

YMG - Cakewalking - Alison Statton, Stuart Moxham, and the third one, can't remember, once more

Weekend - two songs from La Variete - Alison continues her career for a while, like YMG with more instruments - I had never heard this material
